Franchise Times: TGA Premier Sports Acquired by Youth Athletes United
Youth Athletes United secured another acquisition in its quest to become the largest and most expansive youth sports organization in the country.
In an interview with Franchise Times, Youth Athletes United CEO Adam Geisler and TGA Premier Sports Senior Director of Operations Laura Sappington, discussed YAU’s recent acquisition of TGA, the largest golf and tennis franchisor in the United States.
To Sappington, it was her trust that YAU had her franchisees’ best interests at heart that helped drive the move forward. “I always look out for my franchisees first, and I never want to put them in a position that would hinder their growth,” Sappington said. “I know being in the golf and technology space, we’re very unique. It’s a lifelong sport with a lot of passion.”
Youth Athlete United’s acquisition of TGA Premier Sports brings its total number of locations to 264, and more acquisitions are planned over the next year.
