Celebrate the Slurpee’s 50th Anniversary with BYOC deal
On March 18 and 19, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Slurpee fans will be able to enjoy the blended beverage with a BYOC (bring your own cup) deal at 7-Eleven Inc. For $1.50, fans can bring an approved cup-like container and fill it with their favorite Slurpee flavors. This is the second year the company has offered the promotion. For fans without a container, they can purchase a collectible 64-ounce mason jar-style cup featuring the “Slurpee 50” celebration logo or check out these fun ideas.


Taco Bell Opening in China
The Mexican fast food chain Taco Bell is hoping to make its China debut by the end of the year. Yum! Brands, the parent company of Taco Bell, already operates 7,000 restaurants in China including KFC and Pizza Hut outlets. This is part of the company’s initiate to make all three restaurants “global iconic brands.”


MOD Pizza Raises $32M for Expansion
MOD Pizza has raised $32M in equity to help support expansion. PWP Growth Equity, a private equity fund managed by Perella Weinberg Partners, has led the funding efforts for the chain. The company is planning on using the funds to support its future growth plans in new and existing markets. Part of the brand’s growth plans includes doubling its store base in 2016.


Arby’s Signs Franchise Deals for 138 Restaurants
After a strong year of development for Arby’s in 2015, Arby’s Restaurant Group Inc. (WRG), the parent company of the franchise brand, has announced the signing of multiple franchise agreements for the development of 138 new restaurant locations. These new franchise agreements keeps the brand on track with its goal to reach $4 billion in total system-wide sales by the end of 2018.


Papa John’s Offering BOGO Offer for Free Throws
The college basketball post season is here and so is the opportunity for Papa John’s fans to hit a free throw for free pizza.
