Just like many entrepreneurs and franchisees, something triggered a jump into business ownership. For Battaglia, it was losing a job that motivated him to build up a lawn care business, an ATM business, a salon business, and eventually, selling those to become one of the first franchisees of the 35-plus location Scoop Soldiers.
