Batteries Plus Seeks Las Vegas Franchisees For Further Market Expansion and Brand Reach
Existing brand recognition in the market and a high need for the brand’s services make the City of Lights an excellent choice for expansion.
Las Vegas just can’t get enough of Batteries Plus.
Demand for the battery, light bulb and phone repair franchise’s services is high in the City of Lights, which is why the leadership team is seeking franchisees to help it further conquer the market.
Batteries Plus already has five stores in the Las Vegas metropolitan area, and the market is ripe with even more business opportunities thanks to a plethora of local universities, municipalities and oil and gas companies, as well as the transportation, hotel and hospitality industries. The brand’s leadership team anticipates the Las Vegas market can hold two more stores.
“Las Vegas is a city of density and growth and a market filled with retail opportunities that continues to expand and expand,” Vice President of Franchise Development Jon Sica said. “The populations both in Las Vegas and its surrounding areas use vehicles, mobile phones, laptops, remote key fobs and more in their everyday lives, and it’s difficult to repair or replace batteries in such devices. Also, the desert heat kills batteries, which is why Las Vegas is prime territory for brand expansion, especially in the southern portion of the city.”
Batteries Plus already enjoys major recognition in the Las Vegas market, especially when it comes to customer service.
“We see consistently high net promoter scores and customer satisfaction scores,” Sica said. “We know Las Vegas is a market where customers enjoy our services, and our stores certainly perform very well, but there is still a lot of untapped commercial opportunity in the market.”
Batteries Plus is also no stranger to the state of Nevada. Outside of Las Vegas, the brand has an additional four stores, and all signs point to continued growth throughout the Silver State. Franchisees who are interested in markets outside of Las Vegas can rest assured there is still plenty of territory up for grabs.
“Nevada is an ideal market for Batteries Plus,” Sica said. “The average U.S. household has 26 battery-operated devices and 61 lightbulb receptacles. Many of these are specialized applications that are hard to find, and as a society, we have become more dependent on the battery power required to power these devices.”
The time is ripe to franchise with Batteries Plus. Not only is Batteries Plus the country’s only battery, light bulb and phone repair franchise, with more than 720 units across the U.S., but it has also received major recognition for its technology initiatives.
In December 2019, the brand was recognized by CTIA, which serves as the trade association for the U.S. wireless communications industry, as the first certified device repair retailer under the association’s Wireless Industry Service Excellence (WISE) program. This certification identifies Batteries Plus as a qualified provider of device repair services.
"Batteries Plus is proud to have been part of this important standard setting, and, more importantly, proud to be one of the very first organizations to adopt these industry standards to help raise the bar for a trusted experience when customers seek device repair," CEO Scott Williams said in a statement that announced the certification.
Further adding to the brand’s appeal is its established status in the technology space. “What franchise candidates, employees and franchisees find cool about us is that we are a tech brand,” Sica said. “There is no city more integrated with technology than Las Vegas, and no ground richer for a franchisee to conquer.”
With established brand-name recognition in the market, plus a robust franchise opportunity, Batteries Plus is ready to expand its ability to service the growing Las Vegas market.
The startup costs for a Batteries Plus franchise range from $201,450 to $385,230. To learn more about franchising with Batteries Plus, visit https://batteriesplusfranchise.com/.
