Best in Class Education Center experienced a record breaking year for its students, franchise unit owners and corporate team in 2017. The tutoring franchise opened 12 new centers across the country, many of which were opened by existing owners who became multi-unit operators with the brand. Best in Class also opened locations in previously untapped markets and plans to continue growth in existing territories where the brand already has a following, building on the incredible development momentum set in 2017.

Many Best in Class franchise owners have a background in education and each center employs educators who have previously worked in places like public school systems, universities or other learning outlets. The brand offers tailored lessons to help build each students’ confidence in their academic career, including test prep, tutoring lessons, enrichment courses and more.
Gaining attention for its ability to find success in various marketplaces, the brand opened its first locations in the states of Florida and Michigan in 2017, and has signed on its first unit owners in North Carolina and Georgia to jumpstart growth in 2018. In the first two months of 2018, Best in Class opened eight new centers and are preparing to open their ninth in March. This opening with be the brand’s 60th center across the country.
“Not only are we breaking into new markets throughout the country, we’re also continuing to penetrate areas in which we’ve seen great success,” said Peterson. “For example, Texas has brought our brand several accomplishments and our multi-unit owners are continuing to grow in their given territories across the state.”
Best in Class currently has 16 locations in Texas, with several of its multi-unit owners presiding in Austin and Houston, and is targeting the Dallas-Fort Worth market for growth this year.
Due to Best in Class’ rapid expansion throughout the country in 2017 and its ability to provide concrete results showcasing its students’ academic improvements system-wide, the brand has jumped quite significantly up the ranks on Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 List from 453 to an impressive 248.
