Bo Jackson is building a foodservice and retail empire with Bo Jackson&rsquo;s Signature Foods which includes Bo Jackson&rsquo;s 34 Beef Line, Bo&rsquo;s Burgers and Bo&rsquo;s Premium Seafood. However, Jackson isn&rsquo;t just the face of the company. For him, it&rsquo;s very important to be heavily involved in the selection, marketing and networking - and even cooking - tied to the product.

In the ninth part of Jackson&rsquo;s exclusive 10-part interview series with 1851 Franchise, Jackson noted that he personally cooks his products for new business prospects which continually surprises people.

&ldquo;People know me which is nice. But it doesn&rsquo;t matter to me if they know me or not - sometimes I like it most when they don&rsquo;t. Because that means that I don&rsquo;t have to talk about my old job or what I used to do. I&rsquo;m in the food business now. If talking about sports and reminiscing about sports is going to get my products on your shelves or in your restaurant on your menu, then let&rsquo;s talk about sports,&rdquo; Jackson told 1851. &ldquo;But at the end of the day, the only thing I care about - like every restaurant owner, every supermarket meat guy or the supermarket general manager, the only thing that matters at the end of the day is that we&rsquo;re putting a good, quality product out there for the end user.&rdquo;
