Tampa-based upscale craft beer concept, The Brass Tap, is looking at expansion opportunities in the Carolinas. The brand is hoping to add a location specifically to the Fayetteville market by 2018.
“I would hope that we have one open next year,” said The Brass Tap's chief development officer Jean Baudrand.
Both North and South Carolina are important for the continued expansion of the brand across the east coast - with current locations in Rock Hill and outside of Charlotte either open or in development.
“Last year, North Carolina was one of the states that increased the most breweries. More than 35,” Baudrand said to reporter Michael Futch. “That was the same number as Texas, California and Florida. It really is important for us. A lot of white collar employment for us.”
The brand is anticipating to have as many as 65 locations open before the end of the year and caters to the upper middle class with its craft beer, cocktails, upscale appetizers and a lively atmosphere to match.
“Every day,” Baudrand said, “you’re going to find a new menu.”
