Initial Franchise Fee: The initial franchise fee for a Camp Bow Wow franchise is $50,000, which is due in full at the time of franchise agreement signing. A 50% discount is available to veterans who meet VetFran program requirements and first responders who meet Camp Bow Wow qualifications.

Camp Bow Wow provides comprehensive training to its franchisees through a structured program designed to ensure successful operations. The training is divided into three key components:
Initial Training: Camp Bow Wow requires a seven day training program for all franchisees and managers. This training includes both remote training as well as work in a classroom setting ahead of on the job training in areas like general business and marketing.
Certification of Dog Trainers: Mandatory for any Camp Bow Wow camp site offering dog training services. CCPDT or IAABC certification required unless prospective trainers have completed an approved dog training program such as CATCH Canine Trainers. An assistant trainer course is also available.
Ongoing Training: All training will be ongoing pending regulatory or sales needs.
Camp Bow Wow offers comprehensive operational support to its franchisees, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to run successful centers. This support encompasses various critical areas:
Site Selection: Camp Bow Wow offers potential franchisees helping choosing the proper camp site location with an eye on design specs and real estate questions.
Opening Week: Getting a franchise off the ground is crucial and Camp Bow Wow supports franchisee training in daily operations, customer service and evolving technology, with in person and online resources further available. Representatives are also available via phone or email during normal business hours.
Equipment: Camp Bow Wow gives franchisees a list of approved equipment, suppliers, products and more, improving initial build out and operations.
Advertising: An advertising fund offers common system benefits, enhancing areas like web development, public relations and overall recognition of brand.
Online Support: 200 hours of proprietary support materials available via online learning managing system in addition to access to operations manual.
Camp Bow Wow equips its franchisees with a proprietary business system, point-of-sale software, client access applications, a web cam system, the Camp Connect intranet system, a learning management system for training, software for website and content management and marketing automation software.
Camp Bow Wow does not require prior business or pet-care experience to become a franchisee. Instead, the brand is looking for candidates who are passionate about dogs and people, who have strong customer service skills and who can follow established systems and processes.
Franchisees are required to possess $140,000 in working capital for the first year of operations and should be prepared to commit significant time and resources to open and maintain their camp sites, completing training and certifications as necessary. Site and construction approval is required. The franchisor provides extensive support, however franchisees must be ready to engage both in the pre-opening and ongoing management phases.
Camp Bow Wow offers a 50% discount on the franchise fee for qualified military veterans who meet requirements of the VetFran program. Camp Bow Wow also offers a 50% discount on the franchise fee to qualifying first responders who qualify.
