<div id="pastingspan1"></div>Two years ago Rally's multi-unit franchisee Debbie Leonard took on a challenge when she purchased several struggling Hampton Roads, Virginia-area restaurants. After a 14 percent revenue increase in the last year, Leonard attributes much of her success to her team. Her company recently won Rally's "market turnaround award" for all of their success. "You can't do it without your people," Leonard told The Hampton Roads Business Journal. "I put our people first. We're always hiring new talent, and we continuously try to promote from within.&#8221; Leonard said she hoped to open more <a href="http://checkers.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=hampton-roads-business-journal-rallys-franchises-growing-in-virginia-2794" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Rally's</a> locations in the area, including ones at Independence Boulevard and Pleasure House Road in Virginia Beach and one in Norfolk. "We should open two to three new restaurants next year and hopefully keep doing that moving forward," she said. <div id="pastingspan1"></div>
