CNBC: Apple Launches Red iPhone, Updated iPad

Apple announces new products and continues to support its (RED) campaign.

On Tuesday, Apple announced a special edition of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, as well as a new version of its 9.7-inch iPad, according to a recent CNBC article. Apple’s decade-long (RED) campaign continues with a new red aluminum iPhone that will contribute to the Global Fund to fight AIDS. Starting at $749, the new iPhone is all yours as early as Friday, March 24. The new iPad has a $329 price tag and includes Touch ID, worldwide LTE support, A9 chip, iOS 10 and a brighter display.

In addition, the company launched a new app to help users combine videos clips, photos and music for users to be able to share on social media and via messages, called Clips. The app is said to have similar features to SnapChat, Instagram, Vine, Google Photos and Musical.ly.

After all of the new technology was introduced, Apple announced it is also adding new watch bands for spring as well as new leather and silicon cases for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
