Franchise Business Review’s Annual Study Highlights Industry-Leading Employers
FBR’s latest Franchising at Work study highlights strong employee engagement in franchising, recognizing top employers like Jason’s Deli, Anago Cleaning and Hounds Town USA.
Franchise Business Review (FBR) has published the findings of its fifth annual Franchising at Work Employee Engagement Study, which surveyed over 12,000 franchise employees to assess job satisfaction, well-being and organizational culture. According to a recent EIN Presswire press release, the study revealed that 84% of corporate franchise employees find their work rewarding, significantly higher than the national average for employee engagement in the U.S., which is below 40%. Despite these positive results, challenges remain, with younger employees (Gen Z) reporting lower levels of emotional and financial well-being.
Key highlights from the study include high employee well-being at 86%, although there was a notable rise in those rating their well-being as poor. Additionally, 57% of employees feel under-compensated, despite wages being at historic highs. FBR also recognized companies for prioritizing employee engagement through its Franchising at Work Awards, with Jason's Deli, Anago Cleaning and Hounds Town USA taking top honors in their respective categories.
Michelle Rowan, president and chief operating officer of FBR, emphasizes the importance of engagement: “These companies have set themselves apart as top employers in franchising through their commitment to creating an exceptional employee experience.”
