1851 spoke with the leaders behind some of the top 10 brands ranked in Franchise Business Review's 2018 Franchisee Satisfaction Awards to learn more about the importance of validation.

1851: Why is franchisee satisfaction so important for your brand? 

MaidPro President & Co-Founder Richard Sparacio: Our franchisee validations are the most important conversations our potential franchisees have while in the decision process to join our brand. We put our hearts and souls into listening, developing and teaching business success. The relationships are unique to the wide range of franchisee personalities. Our franchisees have to want success more than us which is a high bar we set. 

1851: How does your brand leverage the information and data that comes from Franchise Business Review's franchisee surveys? 

Sparacio: Anytime a survey is launched, we see the feedback as a form of listening. We use the data as a way to measure trends for the year-over-year value-add we provide. The high rankings help on a franchise marketing level as well.

1851: What steps does your brand take to receive such high marks when it comes to franchisee satisfaction? 

Sparacio: It starts with making sure we provide the most effective tools in marketing, technology, financials and sales. Our team has a quirky, family feel that makes our culture welcoming, honest, and fresh.

1851: What is your top tip or piece advice for brands looking to improve their level of franchisee support? 

Sparacio: Select the right franchises who are self-aware. Be available to your franchises and make sure they feel heard.

1851: How is your brand going to build on this recognition and success going forward in 2018?  

Sparacio: We are promoting collaboration of support through our Peer Performance Groups. We are continuing to see the value our franchisees get from one another and finding it is becoming an important component to their success.
