Today in Shanghai, China, <a href="https://anytimefitness.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchise-times-anytime-fitness-celebrates-4000th-gym-opening-with-message-of-unity-2705940" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Anytime Fitness</a> will open its 4,000th gym. With plans to open in Antarctica next, the franchise would be the first to have locations on all seven continents, according to a <a href="http://www.franchisetimes.com/news/March-2018/In-a-World-Divided-Anytime-Fitness-Finds-Common-Truth/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchise-times-anytime-fitness-celebrates-4000th-gym-opening-with-message-of-unity-2705940" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">recent Franchise Times article</a>. National media director, Mark Daley, believes the brand can help bring people together in a divided world where few things can be agreed upon&ndash; but living a happy, healthy lifestyle is one of them.

That&rsquo;s why Anytime Fitness is promoting this milestone&ndash;achieved in only 16 years&ndash;with a video of members working out in 12 countries with a message of unity.

&ldquo;Different homelands. Different backgrounds. Different histories. It may seem we have little in common, But in truth, we&rsquo;re more alike than we realize,&rdquo; the video says. But one thing we can all agree on, &ldquo;We all hate burpees,&rdquo; the video answers.
