Toastique, the emerging gourmet toast and juice bar franchise based out of Washington, D.C., is one of the most innovative concepts making a name for itself in the $800 billion health and wellness industry today. Outstanding customer service, beautiful presentation and, of course, delicious, high-quality products have made the brand a local favorite in all the markets it serves.

Toastique gives owners a chance to tap into the $800 billion health and wellness industry by bringing a new, unique concept to their local market. And considering Americans currently spend almost $900,000 per month on avocado toast, while the smoothie and juice bar industry is worth nearly $3 billion, the Toastique concept is a recipe for success.

“We truly don’t believe we have any competitors — we’ve created a niche by offering all the benefits of a cold juice bar, but with the added toast concept,” said Brianna Keefe, Founder and CEO. “It is putting us in a whole different category that reaches a much broader audience. We have all the offerings of a typical juice bar, but we are more of a micro-café, which lends itself to a dinner crowd. We are healthy, fast-casual food. Fresh, quick and made-to-order.”

Toastique understands that quality matters. That’s why all of the brand’s menu offerings are made from locally sourced ingredients prepared in-house wherever possible. The franchise has perfected the art of combining healthy and delicious meals with an Instagramable presentation. When it comes to toast, there’s a little something for every palette. Savory and sweet gourmet variations cover a range of options such as the Avocado Smash, 3 Cheese Italian, Smoked Salmon, Greek, Tomato Buratta, PB Crunch and Tuscan Tuna.

Creative fruit and veggie smoothie blends are all prepared in-house from fresh, organic ingredients, designed to give customers the nutrients they need — without compromising on flavor and presentation. Tasty smoothie options include GingerBerry, Green Machine, Iced Brew, Super Fruit, Purple Heart, Blue Mystique and Orange Crush.

Toastique also cold presses its fresh juices every 24 hours. While the menu may change from day to day, some of the usual staples include the Detoxify with coconut water, lemon, activated charcoal and agave; the Defender with orange, carrot, apple, turmeric and lemon; the Recharge with beet, carrot, apple, orange and ginger; and many more.

Customers can also stop in for a morning pick-me-up or afternoon snack with Toastique’s array of nutritious smoothie bowls. Options include the PB + B Bowl, DragonBerry, Black Mystique, Cocolada, Blue Mystique, 'OG' Acai, Mango Tango and Matcha.

Health and wellness have always been a priority for Keefe. As a D1 athlete, she developed a passion for creating nutritious snacks in order to fuel her rigorous training and on-the-go lifestyle. In fact, much of her own habits have inspired the Toastie menu.

“I was always on the go, she said. “So, I always made smoothies. I actually had a Magic Bullet blender that I would always use to make acai bowls to take with me. Toastique is really just how I love eating. When I travel to new cities, I always like to find new juice bars and cafés to try.”

With such unique offerings and a diverse menu, Keefe says that Toastique has something for all types of clientele. From business meetings to weekend brunches, Toastique is certainly positioned to become any community’s new go-to spot.

As it grows, Toastique is committed to innovation and plans to continue rolling out new menu items based on what consumers are looking for. In Florida, for example, one location began offering vegan ice cream after noticing that there was a big late-night crowd coming in after work. Several Toastique locations have also introduced a full bar and cocktail menu, including Mimosas made with freshly-squeezed juice, homemade Bloody Mary mix and more.

The initial investment required to start a Toastique franchise ranges from $367,570 to $695,975. For more information on franchising with Toastique, visit https://toastiquefranchising.com/.
