Rich Baron, a workplace expert and executive coach with Intelligent Leadership Executive Coaching® (ILEC), the 15-unit executive coaching franchise, spoke with ABC4 to offer his advice on how to create a stronger workplace culture to support employees and promote retention.
These days, what really matters in the workplace for both employees and employers, Baron said, is flexibility, encouragement, and a positive work environment.
According to Baron, employers “have to get outside [their] own comfort zone and be able to be vulnerable to learn not only what [their] strengths and gaps are but how to pick up on this information from the people around [them], as well.”
Baron has been coaching employees from entry-level to senior leadership for more than two decades.
