One of the ways that&nbsp;<a href="https://1851franchise.com/new-franchise-mold-medics-is-leveraging-family-franchise-history-with-new-franchise-opportunity-2717193">Mold Medics</a> executives are streamlining the prospect process is by making sure the opportunities available to owners are explained well in the&nbsp;<a href="https://1851franchise.com/what-is-an-fdd-2705192">Franchise Disclosure Document&nbsp;</a>(FDD).&nbsp;&nbsp;The company recently released their 2022 FDD, which offers in-depth insight into what franchise owners can expect and what they stand to gain from investing in Mold Medics.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/tim-swackhammer-15869861?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=mold-medics-new-fdd-boasts-double-digit-growth-and-sets-expectations-for-nationwide-expansion-2719169" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Tim Swackhammer,</a> CEO of Mold Medics, said the company made substantive additions to the FDD and were diligent and detailed when outlining the information therein.“We want to provide more information to give prospective franchisees a better idea of a franchise unit’s possible sales figures. We also want to clearly outline some of the direct costs and what the different service types really break down to in terms of revenue,” said Swackhammer.&nbsp;A large portion of the changes were made to the FDD’s Item 19, which Swackhammer said was “pretty minimal” before but now discloses heaps of information about corporate territories, average revenues, the cost of goods, payroll costs and more. He calls it a “complete review” for transparency’s sake.Between the three corporate-owned territories, the Item 19 shows an average growth sales increase of 25.2% from 2019 to 2021. It further breaks the figures down by job type to show the company has grown significantly in revenue in both specialties. Their gross sales for mold remediation in 2021 was $811,614, while it was $558,375 two years prior; duct cleaning in 2021 brought in $113,082 versus $35,640 in 2019.&nbsp;The message there is opportunity, said Swackhammer. “The per unit numbers and figures that we're able to provide are huge. I think being able to give the level of detail we are in terms of costs is going to give franchisees a great insight into the possibilities of what can come from signing up for Mold Medics.”Other adjustments were made to the FDD’s Item 7, which lays out the estimated initial investment. Here, Mold Medics has included a detailed chart listing out the types of expenditures, amount and payment schedule. The total for signing an agreement for a single location is $83,049–$158,999, which includes costs like a $29,999 franchise fee, up to $10,500 for vehicle expenses, $15,000–$20,000 in supplies, $12,000–$20,000 in initial marketing and more.&nbsp;“The cost of doing business, for everybody, has changed pretty dramatically. So we wanted to make sure that our costs are updated there,” said Swackhammer.&nbsp;The company is eager to welcome new franchisees to become a part of the brand and get in on the ground level, while there are many territories available to choose from.&nbsp;“We're actively looking for franchisees that are a good fit for the system,” said Swackhammer. “We are a young franchise, so we want to make sure that the people that we're bringing into our organization are a good fit from a personality perspective.
