The home care service brand, Mold Medics, based in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, was founded to help people who don’t feel that their homes are healthy places to live. Since the pandemic, families have been spending more time in their homes than ever before. Mold issues can appear in any home, and as these problems continue, they can negatively affect our health. Mold Medics provides mold treatments, ductwork and radon testing in their clients’ houses to help them stay healthy at home.

“We get to help people who don’t feel comfortable, don’t feel safe, or don’t feel like their homes are really healthy. We’re able to come in and really change that environment to a point where they, their kids, their entire family can be there, can breathe easily and really enjoy their home,” said Tim Swackhammer, founder and CEO of Mold Medics.

Swackhammer comes from a family with extensive franchising experience. Once Mold Medics began to grow rapidly, it was an easy decision to begin franchising the brand. From the beginning, Swackhammer and his team were building their business model so it would be easily scalable in the future. Mold Medics has become an expert brand at utilizing technology and industry-proven processes to train its franchisees across the country. Because of this, each Mold Medics client can expect proven and effective results no matter where they are in the country.
