Glenn Lunde brings years of restaurant experience to the table.
Togo’s Eateries has a new chief concept officer. This week, the San Jose, California-based fast casual sandwich chain announced that Glenn Lunde is stepping into the newly created role.
Lunde comes to Togo’s after serving as chief marketing officer for Grocery Outlet, a group of independent grocery retailers. Before that, Lunde worked for Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc. as its chief concept officer.
In a statement, Togo’s CEO Tony Gioia said, “Glenn has a proven track record of building national franchises into sustainable, profitable operators that achieve long-term success.” He continued, “He will be a valuable leader for our brand repositioning and concept development efforts. I envision Glenn’s role expanding over time.”
Togo’s, which was founded in 1971, currently has 243 restaurants.
