Michael Wagner, Pool Scouts President aka Scout Master
Michael Wagner was born in California but grew up a military brat who lived in many spots and traveled around the world. Michael graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with an Economics degree and a second major in Spanish. Prior to Pool Scouts he worked as the Corporate Sales Officer for Chartway Federal Credit Union. Before Chartway, Michael was the Global Client Services Leader for DuPont Sustainable Solutions. He held multiple senior leadership roles for Coastal Training Technologies Corporation (acquired by DuPont) over a 19-year career. With Coastal, Michael led the International Business, which included launching subsidiaries in countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Germany, India, the Netherlands, Spain and China. As the President of Pool Scouts, Michael oversees the business and works to drive growth and ensure franchisee support. When not working hard to set new benchmarks for the pool cleaning and maintenance business, he enjoys traveling around the east coast with his wife and two children for soccer games and training sessions. He also enjoys soccer, surfing and time at his own pool with the family.
Todd Crowe, Director Of Operations aka Group Scout Leader
Born in Chesapeake, Virginia, Todd Crowe has been in the pool industry since the age 16. With a BS in communications and a minor in video and film production, this graduate of Old Dominion University has served in all aspects of the industry for the past 20 years. Todd leverages his knowledge of pools along with this schooling in communications to serve and empower Pool Scouts franchisees everyday. Outside of working with pool business professionals, Todd is known for throwing some great pool parties in his self-designed “U” shaped pool, built specifically for water polo, aqua volleyball and a fierce games of pool basketball. Todd also enjoys spending time relaxing by the pool with his growing family.
Michael Hull, Director Of Finance aka Cash Scout
Michael grew up in Norfolk, VA, and other than his college years at William and Mary where he graduated from, he has called the city home. He has a finance and real estate background, but jumped into franchising waters early on. As our Cash Scout, Michael oversees the books but also supports the franchise operations with training, maintaining, and improving our current and potential franchise partners, and managing various vendor relationships. He enjoys his free time outdoors boating and fishing with family and friends. Oh, and his favorite color is blue (how appropriate).
Gwen Marsh, Marketing Manager aka Venture Scout
Gwen spent a decade at Forrester Research supporting senior level marketers at Fortune 500 companies, helping them win, serve and retain customers through new and ever-evolving marketing techniques. Prior to joining Forrester, Gwen spent time in the healthcare industry in project management, business development and client support. She graduated with a degree in Psychology from Skidmore College with a minor in Sports Medicine. Trying to relive the glory days of playing collegiate women’s lacrosse, Gwen spends time coaching youth leagues and recruiting her two kids to pick up a lacrosse stick. It doesn’t seem to be working because her daughter prefers soccer and her son loves baseball! But just like any good scout, Gwen isn’t giving up the fight. Gwen’s also been known to be up for a game of Marco Polo in the family pool!
Timothy Holadia, Director of Franchise Development aka Scout Pioneer
Timothy was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In fact, his mother still lives in that same house they brought him home to from the hospital. Timothy has been in franchise development for more than 16 years and loves the opportunity to help people realize their dreams of being in business for themselves. The former VP of Development at Geeks on Call and most recently, CEO & Founder of Franmogul, has worked with more than 80 brands to grow their franchise networks. The greatest joy of his life is spending time with his son, either playing basketball in the front driveway or watching him participate on sports teams including basketball, soccer, and tennis.
