Dr. Johnston has been practicing in the field of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine since 1985. He has also served as Chairman of the Louisiana Governors Council on Physical Fitness and Sports and was a U.S. Weightlifting Team Physician. He has completed numerous marathons (Boston, NYC) and the Canadian Ironman Triathlon on his quest for a healthy lifestyle. Candice Wild APRN, FNP-C, has focused on wellness and anti-aging, including aesthetics, IV hydration therapy and hormone replacement. Together, the two of them will oversee the modalities and treatments being provided by the medical staff at KOUVE Centers. &nbsp;&nbsp; Among the modalities being offered by KOUVE are CRYOTHERAPY and localized cryo treatments which are capable of reducing inflammation, increasing flexibility and boosting hormone levels; RED LIGHT therapy, known also for its anti-inflammatory benefits in addition to relieving joint pain and improving complexion; DRY FLOAT therapy, which helps to relax the mind in an effort to better balance the demands of everyday life; and INFRARED SAUNAS which heat your body instead of the air to relieve muscle pain and improve speed of recovery from strength training. &nbsp; Additionally, KOUVE will be offering Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). These sessions have been widely used in the medical field to treat severe, life-threatening illnesses. Most recently, HBOT has started creeping into the wellness and recovery space.
