He wanted to create a product that had the locally soured, fresh, high quality ingredients he craved. After doing plenty of research, the pizza fanatic opened the first Roman Candle in Madison, with two other area locations and a restaurant in the Milwaukee area to follow.</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">&#8220;I think I have eaten pizzas in 15 different countries in North America and Europe, but I just wasn&#8217;t getting the pizza that I wanted and was craving,&#8221; Stouffer said. &#8220;There is just something about a well-made pizza that has the perfect balance of crust, sauce, cheese and toppings.&#8221;</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">In a world trending towards convenience, Stouffer felt that franchising was the way to continue his company's expansion, while maintaining their sterling standards.</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">&#8220;A lot of restaurants are trying to get faster and faster &#8212; quick, quick, quick, quick, or cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap.
