Scoop Soldiers Hosts Inaugural “Scoop Swoop” Franchise Conference in McKinney, TX

The emerging “pooper scooper” franchise gathered at Heritage Ranch Country Club to celebrate a year of growth with golf, networking and awards.

DALLAS, TX– After a year of strong growth and accoladesScoop Soldiers, the emerging “pooper scooper” franchise with over 40 units and counting, gathered in McKinney, Texas for its inaugural franchisee conference, Scoop Swoop 2023.

“Scoop Swoop 2023 was a great celebration after a successful year and a strong foundation for franchisee conferences in the coming years,” said E.J. McCoy, CEO of Scoop Soldiers. “Bringing everyone together to celebrate the wins of the previous year is a valuable activity in a franchise system, and we’re glad to have been able to connect with everyone in McKinney recently.”

The franchise system converged at Heritage Ranch Country Club for a golf tournament and team mixer to kick things off. The following day, they met at the Sheraton Hotel ballroom where they enjoyed delicious food and a set of conference activities including a keynote address, roundtable sessions and marketing and KPI presentations. To honor and celebrate successful franchisees, Scoop Soldiers presented awards and hosted a gala, complete with food and drinks.

The following franchises were recognized for their work over the past year:

  • Alpharetta, Georgia; Franchise Engagement: Eric Degen was recognized for founding and leading the Franchise Engagement Advisory Council, which allows franchisees to come together, discuss areas of opportunity and collaborate with the franchisor to find solutions.
  • Frisco, Texas and Tampa, Florida; Employee Development: Ron Battaglia and John Amaroufi were recognized for their commitment to supporting the growth of their employees in the Scoop Soldiers system.
  • Austin, Texas; Growth & Expansion: Andrew Entwistle and Heather Harrington were recognized for their impressive growth in 2022 and 2023.
  • Denton, Texas; State Farm Good Neighbor: Heather Phillips was recognized by Scoop Soldiers and State Farm for responsible management of their fleet.
  • Phoenix, Arizona; Most Curve Balls: Justin Thompson was recognized for consistently taking surprises in stride and working to run a reliable, efficient business, regardless of the circumstances.
  • Alpharetta, Georgia; Energizer Bunny: Eric Degan was also recognized for his excitement surrounding his business and the Scoop Soldiers model.

Looking toward its next year of growth, Scoop Soldiers looks forward to leveraging the continued passion of its franchisees as they strategize and collaborate to drive their own businesses, support their fellow owners and expand the system into new markets.
