Zeke’s family owns a plumbing business, which he was able to observe and occasionally work in growing up, so a home services franchise felt like a natural fit for the two.“We’re both in our 20s working on the business, and we see the potential of it,” said Zeke. “We have a third friend, Liam, who works with us full-time. He’s a big part of the story. This is all or nothing for the three of us, and we motivate each other to be better each day. A lot of owners are in their 30s and 40s, so we have to do great work to prove that we’re capable, but we also have an even longer runway to build the business.”<h3>The Pair Is Building a Reputation</h3>In their community, Zeke and Connor work diligently to build a reputation. By treating every home they enter like their own and working to ensure that each job is completed to standard, they are growing to be known as a reliable, trustworthy business for locals seeking home services support.“Building a reputation is massive. It’s, of course, for Sir Grout; we want to make sure that we represent them very well. But it’s also for ourselves,” added Connor. “We want to make sure that every customer feels at home with us. We are going to get the job completed well and thoroughly and make sure that everything goes smoothly. It’s the biggest priority for us because we are a small business. We’re trying to show that young entrepreneurs can definitely compete with bigger brands.”With two territories under their ownership, Connor, Quinn and Zeke are working to find a healthy, predictable balance of work across the geographies they service.
