There are many things that go into making a great franchise website. An appealing look and credible content are paramount, of course. The information and design must be top-notch to get customers interested in patronizing a business and also to hook potential franchisees curious about learning more. Here are five franchise business sites that do all of this very well:

25. Apple Seeds/Songs for Seeds: The Apple Seeds site colorfully lays out what makes its music program — Songs for Seeds — appear to be an appealing franchise opportunity. The program, started in New York, encourages children under 6 years old to sing, dance and play along with a live, three-piece band. The site gives a basic explanation of the franchising costs and support, points out the benefits of working for yourself and sparking children’s creativity, and offers reviews from major media outlets.

24. JAN-PRO: You want it clean, you want it done right. The pros at Jan-PRO get that, and the site explains how its crews exceed expectations in the commercial cleaning industry. The site also makes a compelling case for buying a franchise. JAN-PRO offers franchisees the chance to start and grow a business without a sales component. Franchisees control their own hours and decide which accounts to accept. Franchisee testimonials offer insight into why JAN-PRO works for them and how it has helped them achieve financial independence.

23. UFC Gym: The site is all about reaching your fitness goals. The franchise section points out that the gym has a household name, capitalizing on the MMA craze. Franchise fees are spelled out and the site says that UFC gyms have lower startup costs compared with other fitness centers, thanks to their smaller gym footprint. A detailed chart helpfully lists the startup costs, including when the payment is due and to whom each payment is made. There also are videos showing what your gym will look like and franchisee testimonials.

22. Toppers Pizza*: Amid all the zany, fun visuals on this site, there’s some downright serious information on what a potential franchisee needs to get going. Franchise fees, average square footage of a Toppers location, testimonials from real people and average net profit are spelled out. There’s also a very useful FAQ section to give you an idea of what it takes to sign on and which parts of the country are available for expansion. The taste of success is around the corner.

21. Amazing Lash Studio: Hey, who doesn’t love a little glamour? The Amazing Lash Studio site has oodles of colorful photos of women with luscious lashes and also gets down to business about franchise opportunities. The site promises complete pre-opening training, advice on site selection, local marketing and advertising assistance, refresher training and automated business systems. There’s also a complete breakdown of costs for a single unit or area representative and detailed floor plans for the lash studios. Smart and beautiful.
