New CDO Corey Wilde looks to enhance the 50-year-old franchise while staying true to its roots.

Togo's is updating its look and feel for 2018 and new CDO Corey Wilde is leading the charge. A recent QSR Magazine article outlined how Wilde plans to enhance brand loyalty and bring on the right partners to help the brand continue to grow. 

With a focus on modernization, but staying true to the franchise's roots, Wilde will use his two decades of industry experience to modernize Togo's through new signage and a slightly modified color palette. The franchise is mindful of its loyal fanbase and was quick to note that the plentiful portions and menu favorites like pastrami and roast beef aren't going anywhere. All of these enhancements are to reenergize the brand and recruit high-quality operators for the brand's ongoing expansion.

“In franchise development, people are often fixated on the numbers game. But what I think is more important is making sure your first priority is bringing on the right partners as new franchisees,” Wilde says. “I definitely have more of a focus on brand stability. With Togo’s being around for as long as it has been, I want to see it successful for the next 40 years.”
