Pizza franchise's top components go head-to-head at National Skin Sprints competition
At the Toppers Pizza annual convention at the Wisconsin Dells on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, the brand's fastest pizza makers went head-to-head at the National Skin Sprints competition to see who would be crowned the winner of $5,000.
Wisconsin Dells Events reported that the ten best 'za chefs at Toppers faced reigning champion Kelly Collins, general manager at the Stevens Point location, for the title of Skin Sprints National Champion 2018. As a result, two-time former Papa John's fastest-pizza-making king Jake Ferdenzi stole both the winning title and the record Skin Sprints time at 1:28:62.
“The competition measures speed and quality,” said Toppers Pizza Director of Social Media and PR Colleen Glendinning told Wisconsin Dells Events. “Toppers Pizza wants to make sure it’s doing things right with quality.”
