After growing up in Chardon, Ohio, Malone went on to get his bachelor’s degree in Sports Business and then his master's in Sports Administration. After working as Assistant Director of Admissions at Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School and then in sales for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Malone decided it was time to combine his passions for finance and helping others.When his grandfather’s health began to decline, Malone knew it was time to step in and help out however he could. “My grandfather's health started failing, and he wanted to do everything he could to stay in the house he built. We had to go into his house and make it senior-proof for him. I started wondering how many other people were going through that as well,” Malone explained.&nbsp;After doing some research, he found that&nbsp;<a href="https://1851franchise.com/trubluehousecare">TruBlue</a> aligned with what he wanted to do.&nbsp;<h4>Entering the Franchising World</h4>Before entering the world of franchising, Malone had little knowledge or experience with it. His biggest concern was the amount of support he would receive during training. However, after he began training and speaking to people already in the corporate world, his stress was eased.&nbsp;“My age is both an advantage and a disadvantage in this industry,” Malone explained. “People can look at me and think I’m too young to have the experience I need. At the same time, they can look at me and think I’m ahead of the game and know how important this can be as people start aging and need help with modifying their homes or adults become busier and prefer to spend time doing things they love most, rather than take care of their homes to-do list.”&nbsp;When working with TruBlue, franchisees are not left to their own devices but instead are backed by others working with the brand. It’s not just about the people who are getting older, it’s also about the people who are too busy to maintain their homes. After helping his grandfather, Malone has personal experience with those who want to stay in their home but can’t keep it up.&nbsp;“I want to touch the lives of as many as I can around me by providing an affordable, quality and dedicated service and be a person that they can trust.
