TruBlue Total House Care, the 80-unit home maintenance and handyman service provider, is committed to helping senior citizens age safely in their homes, and one of their newest franchisees is evidence of that.

Jeff Pittman opened his TruBlue location in Wilmington, North Carolina in July 2021. Pittman recently spoke to Good Life Wilmington, where he says since opening his franchise, he’s discovered his mission in life: to help older adults age in peace.

Pittman, who has worked in nursing and assisted living facilities for roughly 10 years, says he’ll “do anything, from putting in a single grab bar to undertaking a complete bathroom remodel.” He believes the general public doesn’t know what it means to safely age in place, so it’s important that he helps older adults plan for when life gets more difficult for them.

While older adults make up about 25% of his business, he’s currently focused on building capacity to serve a larger customer base
