The Kentucky Derby is more than just a horse race. It is an all-out spectacle, featuring some of the most eclectic food and ridiculous hats anyone has ever seen. To provide a more immersive experience for viewers, NBC will be placing GoPro cameras around Churchill Downs, allowing those at home to see all the going-ons of the Derby. - Ryan Paul

Weird and exciting things are on the horizon for Radiohead. The band recently wiped clean its online presence. Their official website, Twitter and Facebook are completely empty, leading some fans to speculate there is new album on the way. Vice Media and ESPN will be teaming up to produce a new short-form series that will be available on each company’s channels. The deal between the two media companies will also allow for content sharing as VICE’s Viceland TV channel will feature some of ESPN’s 30 for 30 documentary series. ESPN will also be carrying some VICE Sports content, such as “VICE World of Sports.” - Chris Zois

Companies are still trying to make smart eyewear a thing, with Sony being the latest brand to try their hand at it. Sony recently filed a patent for smart contact lenses that would allow a user to take a photo when they blink. The photos would then be stored to a wireless device. - Cassidy McAloon

Advertisers will soon be able to see how their Promoted Pin campaigns on Pinterest will be performing thanks to research conducted by Millward Brown Digital. The digital market research firm will be using its Brand Lift Insights service to measure a brand based off a number of metrics, including impressions, clicks and repins of images. - Sarah Mellema
