Scoop Soldiers, the emerging pet waste removal franchise with 40-plus units and counting, has set its sights on Nashville, Tennessee as its next market for expansion. With a rapidly growing population and a strong pet-owning community, Nashville offers a prime opportunity for Scoop Soldiers to establish a strong presence in the region.

According to Scott Oaks, the Vice President of Franchise Development at Scoop Soldiers, the brand has already been serving clients in the Nashville region since January of last year. The Nashville region includes three territories, including Franklin, Eastern and Northern Nashville. Each of these territories has a population of around 400,000 to 500,000 people.

Scoop Soldiers is actively seeking a single or multi-unit franchisee to take over these territories, where the brand already has an established customer base. Oaks says franchisees are able to own multiple territories within the same market, and because of the brand’s business model, it’s easy for owners to expand and grow their market.

One reason why Scoop Soldiers has identified Nashville as a prime market for growth is the city’s rapidly growing population. Over the past decade, Nashville has become one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S., with an influx of people moving into the region for a number of reasons, including job opportunities and affordable living. As more people move to the area, the demand for pet care services like Scoop Soldiers has increased, making it an ideal market for the franchise to expand and provide much-needed services to pet owners in the region.

“Our business model is reliant on pet ownership,” said Oaks. “Nashville has a large pet-owning population and a strong pet community. For about $20 a week, we can take care of the worst part of owning a pet while keeping your yard a clean and healthy environment for your pets and family,” he added.

Since the brand’s inception in 2010, Scoop Soldiers has become one of the freshest and biggest brands in the pooper scooper industry. According to Oaks, the brand’s expansion is set to continue as it meets the increasing demand for its services.

“We provide these services in almost any economic community. This will be a service as common as getting your lawn mowed or your house cleaned in the next couple of years,” he said.

Scoop Soldiers is seeking franchisees who align with their culture and share a similar vision for the future, and are looking for long-term partners.

Looking to the future, Scoop Soldiers also has plans for growth beyond Nashville and is actively looking to expand into all states. The brand’s goal is to have 50 open locations by the end of 2023 and continue growing rapidly with a target of reaching 120 locations over the next three years. Ultimately, the brand aims to hit the 400 mark within the next five years.
