Collaboration and teamwork is essential in helping you reach your full potential and indicting others to theirs.

Consider the words of the 17th century poet, John Donne:

"No man is an island,

entire of itself;

every man is a piece of the continent,

a part of the main."

This small excerpt strikes to the core of our humanity – we all, at some point or another, lean on others for help.

The entrepreneur's idea, even if invented in solitude, requires buy-in from investors as well as employees and customers to fulfil the vision.

It's a team effort to get it off the ground.

And then there are those times where we don't actually ask for help, but it arrives anyway, much to our chagrin. In hindsight, we often recognize the immense value of having someone show up for us. We end up being better for it, noting how that one interaction had a domino effect in bringing us to our present-day.
