Young Ones to Watch: Ali Kraus, Director of Franchise Marketing & Brand Experience at Celebree School

Kraus integrates marketing and education insights strategy into Celebree School’s 27 years of brand development.

Franchising expert Ali Kraus has established herself in franchise development with Celebree School, a brand specializing in early childhood education since 1994. Kraus is the director of franchise marketing & brand experience and previously worked as the brand’s full-time director of events after working seven years as a special education teacher. A rich background in education was only the beginning for Kraus to establish herself in the franchising community, and her expertise has been furthered through involvement with the Women in Franchising Committee and her ambition to finish her CFE in nine months.

She praised how franchises are full of generous and wholesome people, as her experience within the field has been full of interactions from people who are willing to help others. “I think the best trait somebody can have in the franchising industry is [to be] ambitious and approachable,” she said.

Kraus believes the most successful people in the franchising industry are people who are both ambitious and approachable, and her advice to new franchisees is to network, build relationships, travel and to say yes to constructive opportunities. “When you are young and you are in business, you still have so much time to change the world,” she added.
