Facebook wants to take over your social life and give many businesses another opportunity to sell.&nbsp;According to a <a href="https://techcrunch.com/2016/10/19/facebook-utility/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=techcrunch-facebook-embraces-utility-with-food-ordering-and-ticketing-6698" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">recent TechCrunch article</a>, Facebook announced&nbsp;that you will now be able to order food from Delivery.com or Slice, request an appointment through MyTime, receive a professional services quote, or buy event or movie tickets with Ticketmaster or Eventbrite all while on&nbsp;Facebook, along with a slew of other changes.

Currently, 650 million people use Facebook&rsquo;s Events feature every month, so native ticket buying could prove powerful for users to stay logged into the app to&nbsp;continue purchasing. Increasing convenience could increase the likelihood that&nbsp;users will continue to use Facebook and Events.

Facebook users often&nbsp;want suggestions for a city they are traveling to and ask for help on the platform. Now, there is a new feature called Recommendations that will automatically appear when you are typing a status of that nature to make the request bigger in friend&rsquo;s News Feeds. Comments will then be added to a map for easy viewing and bookmarking.

The last change Facebook is announcing is that Events will appear in a tab on the main app again. Users will see a feed of Event discovery content to see what friends have RSVP&rsquo;d to and what events are coming up near you, to truly create a more social network.

For now, these changes will be live in the U.S. and will be rolled out to other countries depending on how they perform.&nbsp;
