Amazing Lash Studio Utilizes Mask-Proof Facial Recognition Technology to Promote Safety During the Pandemic

Beauty technology just received a COVID-19 upgrade.

Amazing Lash Studio recently launched its new in-app technology called GlamCam that allows clients the chance to see their new extensions virtually without having to take off their masks. According to Forbes, the 250-plus unit brand released the technology in an effort to speed up appointment times, reduce risk of maskless contact and ensure the client is getting exactly what they want.

“It now enables the guest to arrive at their appointment with the photo of what they want, so it absolutely reduces the consultation time with the lash stylist,” Heather Elrod, Amazing Lash Studio CEO, told Forbes.

Amazing Lash Studio’s new “try-on” feature allows clients to use the app ahead of their appointment, or with their estheticians to get a better understanding of their desired look and style. The mask facial recognition feature allows clients the chance to use the app anytime, anywhere and without worry of removing their mask.
