ARCpoint Labs franchisee ready to change stigma of drug testing

Andy Mark recently became the first ARCpoint Labs franchise owner in Spartanburg, S.C. It is a feat for the South Carolina-based company, whose expansion has been prominent across the country, and a dream for the Spartanburg local who was looking at ownership opportunities that could contribute to the community he has grown to love.

“It's a well-planned, growing community that's not overcrowded,” Mark told the Spartanburg Herald-Journal. “The people are fantastic. My hope is for this to be successful so that we can give to a range of charitable organizations and missions.”

With an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming, and a staff to match, Mark's mantra is to change the negative stigma associated with lab testing. He believes by changing the environment, the mindset of the clientele can change instantaneously.

“When you get drug-tested, let's face it, it's not like you're going to lunch,” Mark said. “People don't want to be there. They're not happy about it. That's where we are different.”
