The community's local <a href="http://mosquitojoefranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=battle-of-the-bugs-mosquito-joe-takes-aim-at-unwanted-pests-2569" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Mosquito Joe</a> owner has been fighting off mosquitos in the area more than usual this year.</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">"Mosquitoes are heavy this year," the <a href="http://mosquitojoe.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=battle-of-the-bugs-mosquito-joe-takes-aim-at-unwanted-pests-2569" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Mosquito Joe</a> franchisee told Clarkston News. "We didn't have a really strong winter, and spring was fairly mild and wet."</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">Mosquitos typically remain active until temperatures dip and remain consistently 50 degrees or cooler. Then, according to Johnson, they will lie dormant until the spring rains return.</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">"The last two years have been strong mosquito seasons, and we're expecting another," Johnson said.</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">With mosquitoes testing positive for West Nile Virus in Wayne County this year, and a confirmed case in Oakland County, his job is more important than ever.
