Six months into 2026, Caring Transitions is building on one of the strongest periods in its history. The senior relocation, downsizing and estate sale franchise has awarded 28 new franchises through the first half of the year, increased revenue and transaction volume across the system and continued investing in the technology, training and operational support designed to help franchisees grow faster and more profitably.

"So far, it has been a year of acceleration," said Brand President Joe Lewandowski. "We have growth across the network, we are continuing to sell franchises — 28 in the first half of the year — and it's been a record year in terms of expanding our footprint. We are continuing to look at existing markets as well, where we can scale.”

That momentum follows a strong first quarter in which Caring Transitions opened 19 new locations, expanded into Vermont for the first time and posted significant gains across its CTBids online auction platform. Rather than slowing after an impressive start, the brand has continued to build throughout the year.

"Our goal is to reach 80 new units by the end of the year," Lewandowski said. "We are in almost all states, and we continue to see opportunities to grow both through new markets and by adding density in existing ones."

According to Lewandowski, systemwide revenue also continues to climb alongside increased transaction volume, reflecting stronger execution throughout the network. The brand is also seeing franchisees generate healthier economics by expanding beyond traditional relocation services.

"We are getting more and more leads, better margins and better jobs," Lewandowski said. "We are also seeing increased utilization of services. Not just downsizing and clean-up, but also auctions and other complementary services."

That broader service mix allows franchisees to capture more revenue from each client relationship while delivering a more comprehensive solution during life's major transitions.

One of the biggest priorities during 2026 has been improving consistency across the entire franchise system. Caring Transitions has expanded coaching resources, enhanced onboarding and created more opportunities for franchisees to share successful operational strategies with one another.

"We just wrapped up our business revenue survey, which is franchise-focused and allows us to see feedback on how we can be a better franchisor," Lewandowski said. "We want to give them the best tools to be successful."

Technology, for example, remains another major driver of Caring Transitions' momentum. Throughout the year, the company has continued enhancing proprietary systems that help franchisees operate more efficiently while delivering a better client experience.

"We provide Caring Quote, we're improving the seller app on CTBids, and we're integrating AI into that as well," Lewandowski said. “When it comes to marketing, we have increased visibility, SEO and AI, and we're continuing to work on strategic partnerships, realtor conventions and other opportunities.”

Those efforts build on the brand's strong digital performance earlier this year, when web traffic, lead generation and CTBids activity all posted significant year-over-year growth.

With franchise sales accelerating, stronger unit-level performance and continued investments across technology, marketing and coaching, Caring Transitions enters the second half of 2026 positioned to build on its strongest growth period to date.

For Lewandowski, the strategy remains straightforward. "We're focused on helping franchisees become more successful," he said. "Everything we're doing is centered around giving owners better tools, stronger support and more opportunities to grow."
