Columbus Dispatch: Checkers and Rally's Has Eye On Columbus As Target For Expansion
Rally's plans on opening 11 new stores over the next few years.
Checkers and Rally's currently has 15 locations in the central-Ohio region and has plans in the works to add 11 more in the next few years.
“We’re looking to do expansion in both Cleveland and Columbus,” Jennifer Durham, Rally’s vice president of franchise development, told The Columbus Dispatch. “The Ohio market in general is really strong.”
The expansion plans are part of the Tampa, Florida-based brand's goal to add 60 more stores across the country next year and they're prepared to stand up to the burger competition in the Columbus market.
“We have something our big burger brothers can’t compete with: value and flavor,” Durham said. “Our burgers are bigger and better.”
