Orlando Business Journal: Checkers & Rally's Opening Three Locations in Orlando

Three new Checkers are en route to metro Orlando and will be incorporated into existing Walmart Supercenter stores.

Franchisee Salim Valiani will open a Clermont location on June 13th. This will be the first of three locations opening this year. Others include two sites in Kissimmee. Each of these locations is expected to add 20-25 jobs for the respective communities.

Expansion is also expected in markets like Tavares, Lake Nona, Lakeland, Lessburg and Sanford.

"We're constantly reviewing any site that comes available in Walmart. Our growth is driven by the availability of Walmart," he said.

Locations that are within a Walmart store have proven to provide more foot traffic and benefit Walmart employees. Future locations may also include freestanding locations that will create local construction jobs.
