International Dairy Queen Inc. is planning to expand its presence in New York with dozens of locations across the state and multiple in the Buffalo area over the next several years.
“Buffalo is an area with great opportunity because it is a solid market with strong family connections and roots,” Jim Kerr, vice president of franchise development for International Dairy Queen told the Buffalo News.
According to the publication, the brand will plan to expand its newer DQ Grill & Chill® concept in the area, rather than adding more treat stores. Each location provides 50 to 100 local jobs.
