<a href="http://www.dairyqueen.com/us-en/Company/Franchise-With-Us/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=buffalo-news-dairy-queen-expands-across-new-york-with-dq-grill-chill-concept-6142" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">International Dairy Queen Inc.</a> is planning to expand its presence in New York with dozens of locations across the state and multiple in the Buffalo area over the next several years.&nbsp;

&ldquo;Buffalo is an area with great opportunity because it is a solid market with strong family connections and roots,&rdquo; Jim Kerr, vice president of franchise development for International Dairy Queen told the Buffalo News.

According to the publication, the brand will plan to expand its newer DQ Grill &amp; Chill&reg; concept in the area, rather than adding more treat stores. Each location provides 50 to 100 local jobs.&nbsp;
