In the interview, Runyon offered three pieces of advice for aspiring franchisees. First, he advises researching the industry to ensure that there’s room for growth. Next, Runyon says that potential local owners should talk to existing franchisees to get a feel for the people and culture in order to determine if it’s the right fit. Lastly, Runyon told Deluxe that it’s important to get to know the corporate team.
