Baton Rouge, Louisiana will soon be home to three new Dat Dog locations. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the gourmet hot dog brand has announced plans for expansion with the signing of an agreement with New Orleans attorneys David Halpern and Teva Lempel.

"Dat Dog is different. It's a fresh concept, and we're very excited to bring a little bit of offbeat New Orleans to Baton Rouge. The concept's vibrant atmosphere, late-night hours and, of course, its hot dogs will no doubt bring additional vibrancy to the campus and introduce students to an entirely new dining experience," said Halpern.

The duo will open the doors to their first Dat Dog location in Arlington Marketplace, located close to Louisiana State University. Following the launch of the restaurant, they have committed to opening an additional two in the near future.

This expansion will help the brand reach its goal of increasing its presence in the South. In the next five years, Dat Dog hopes to have between 40 and 50 operating locations across the region.
