Franchise Times recently covered the signing of a 10-unit franchise agreement between Agape Management, by partners Ted Beaman, Sean McCullough and Greg Stevens and MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes. Agape Management started evaluating different franchise concepts in 2020 before deciding to pursue franchising opportunities with MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes. MOOYAH’s better burger positioning and investment in technology featuring its loyalty rewards app and online ordering options were big factors in the group’s decision.

“We just think they’re going to be really well positioned from a consumer standpoint and as a brand that landlords are looking toward,” Beaman told Franchise Times.

Beaman, McCullough and Stevens are no strangers to the hospitality industry with extensive backgrounds with Dave & Buster’s, Boston Pizza and Bone Daddy’s barbeque restaurant.

“We all share a common set of values and a vision about the role hospitality can play in people’s lives,” notes Beaman. “We believe a company and a group of leaders that focuses on taking care of others will win in the long term, and MOOYAH is step one.”

The first of the 10 units is slated to open in early 2021. MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes has over 75 locations across the country.
