After a long and prosperous career in IT sales at the corporate level, Raj Das is preparing to become a franchise owner with The Cleaning Authority in Connecticut.

Raj Das has a diverse corporate background as an IT sales and delivery leader in the insurance and healthcare industries, and most recently he was a vice president at MassMutual Financial Group. Throughout his career Raj has been involved in developing software, leading transformative IT projects, managing profits and losses for national territories, and building executive relationships with Fortune 500 leaders. Raj wants to leverage his skills and experience in building his own business for the next 20 years. Much of his motivation to find a business centers around building an asset for his family and creating a legacy for his son. Raj feels his passion for positive customer experience, expertise in running profits and losses statements, and a servant leadership mindset makes him a great fit for The Cleaning Authority. He’s been very impressed by the systems and processes at The Cleaning Authority, excellent operational support and the highly evolved alignment of purpose between The Cleaning Authority’s management team and the franchise owner and feels that the model is a good fit for his lifestyle and income goals.

What were you doing before partnering with The Cleaning Authority?

I had a successful career in the corporate world, working in IT and insurance, but I wanted to find a way that my work as a business man could help secure the future of my family, especially my son, who is a junior at South Windsor High School. I’m hopeful that he will start helping with house cleanings and rise in the ranks of the business in future years.

How did you learn about The Cleaning Authority, and what made you ultimately decide to commit?

I explored many franchise concepts and chose The Cleaning Authority for a few reasons. First of all, the representative we worked with in the sales process was very helpful and professional, which I have come to find is a trait of the whole corporate team. After going through the process, it was clear that both the franchisor and its franchisees were high-caliber business people and that the brand was successful as a whole, which made me want to be a part of the company.

Why is West Hartford the perfect market for your The Cleaning Authority business?

Hartford hosts the corporate headquarters of several Fortune 500 firms and this market, which includes West Hartford, Avon, Simsbury, Canton, Farmington, Bloomfield, Windsor and Granby, is the home of many hard-working families from these corporations. They all deserve the highest quality of cleaning service and my business is going to fulfill that gap.
