In order to continue expanding, FranNet, a franchise consulting firm, has announced the promotion of executive team members. Jania Bailey, former president and chief operating officer of FranNet, will now assume the position of chief executive officer; and Todd Bingham, former vice president of operations, will move into the role of president of FranNet-North America, effective immediately.

In her new role, Bailey will oversee the global expansion strategy and development of all FranNet subsidiaries. These encompass FranNet-U.S., FranNet-Canada, FranNet-Germany, FranNet-U.K. and FranNet-Global, the global development sector. She will also oversee Proven Match, a franchise behavioral assessment tool; FranchiseWorks.com, a portal where potential franchisees can search for opportunities; and ZorNetwork.com, a franchisor recruiting site for FranNet.

“FranNet has been the leading franchise matchmaking service in North America for decades. Recently, we saw the opportunity on growing our international portfolio with consultants in Germany and the United Kingdom, after adding FranchiseWorks.com and Proven Match,” said Jania Bailey, CEO of FranNet. “Through our full suite of services, we are the one-stop shop for franchisors and aspiring franchisees to be able to help generate new and successful businesses around the world.”

Bingham’s role will encompass growth and development in the United States and Canada. In this position, he will focus on increasing FranNet’s reach in the two countries, leveraging strategic partnerships, and actively seeking highly qualified franchisors for FranNet to represent by its team of locally-based consultants.

“Having our business focused on both domestic and international growth allows us to solidify resources against our vast expansion opportunities,” said Bingham. “We see big opportunities with increasing our brand presence in North America, while also accelerating our international development because we believe so strongly in the potential market and range of operations we’re able to provide. There are people all over the world who have dreams of owning their own business, and we want to help guide these individuals seeking ownership to take the next step.”

To strengthen its international foothold, Bailey also announced that FranNet is launching a new growth platform for franchisors. The “Go Global” program is designed to assist domestic franchisors with international development strategies through a strategic platform backed by continued support from FranNet’s growing global network.

To this end, the company also announced the hiring of Phil Sanders, who will serve as vice president of international development. Previously, he served in development roles with Quiznos, GNC and Bluecast Solutions.

By employing highly-qualified business professionals with a strong understanding of business opportunities in their country or region, FranNet will allow future franchisees to experience greater success and business satisfaction throughout the world while helping franchisors grow their brands into new markets.

“2015 is positioned to be a phenomenal year of growth for FranNet, and we recognize great opportunities for advancement from within,” said Jack Armstrong, current chairman of the board and former CEO of FranNet. “We have a phenomenally talented company and the opportunity to grow domestically and internationally is key for us. We have a ton of great momentum right now, and these strategic moves set us up for 2015 and beyond.”
