Sean Fatzinger never forgot his first – in fact, after eating at cult-following taco brand Fuzzy’s Taco Shop for the first time, the Texas native and other senior leadership at Enmarket agreed to develop with Fuzzy’s. And now, he leads the opening of the first-ever 24-hour location in Hardeeville, South Carolina, through Enmarket Convenience Stores.“I was in love after the first time,” said Fatzinger, Director of Food Service Operations for the 56-year-old company that operates 124 convenience stores with gas and 14 quick serve restaurants. “People are going to go nuts for the food, the culture and the value. And, they can have it whenever they want.”Enmarket President Brett Giesick stated, “Enmarket concluded that our own commitment to customer satisfaction and “fresh” aligned with the Fuzzy’s brand and culture, and we wanted to pioneer the growth in South Carolina.”&nbsp; When reviewing restaurant brands, Enmarket was looking for a restaurant franchise that wasn’t saturated across the Southeast and one they could grow with. They wanted a product and company they could believe in, and to work with a franchise group that had a solid background and the same values they had as a company.&nbsp;“I was overwhelmed by the fan fanaticism I saw at Fuzzy’s on my first visit, earlier this year,” said Matt Clements, Vice President of Marketing for Enmarket.&nbsp; “I can’t wait to see the satisfaction on our guests’ faces when they too eat there for the first time.”The 24-hour restaurant opened this November and is located at 4488 Independence Blvd. in Hardeeville, SC.“Our fans don’t just buy our tacos, they buy franchises,” said Michael Mabry, Chief Development Officer of Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, who noted the brand will open 20 plus restaurants over the next 12 months, many of which will be opened by fans of the food and the brand. “Not only is our product solid, so are our numbers and our growth. This solidifies the buzz.”Fuzzy’s Taco Shop owns the fast casual Mexican food category in every sense – from location buildout and customer experience to its strong Item 19, with its average unit volume coming in at $1.6 million as reported in its 2019 Franchise Disclosure Document. With solid unit-level performance, the unapologetic brand has captured the attention of multi-unit and multi-brand operators who are quickly scooping up territory claims. The 53 operators who have already joined Fuzzy’s on its mission currently own nearly 150 locations with another 70 in development.Restaurants range from 3,000 to 4,000 square feet and cost between $858,500 to $1,329,000 to open.
