Intelligent Leadership Executive Coach and Marine Corps Public Affairs Officer talks about breaking barriers in male-dominated fields.
In an interview with PIX 11, Intelligent Leadership Executive Coach, Gene Durham discussed some of the hurdles that she and many other women face in male dominated fields like the Marine Corps.
Durham spent 22 years serving as a Marine Corps Public Affairs officer and when discussing tips for other women in situations like hers, she said that, “...becoming more self-aware, showcasing their talents, and being more comfortable with being vulnerable” were key factors.
