Jollibee Ranks Among Top U.S. Chicken Chains by Sales
With $4.44M AUV, Jollibee joins Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane's and Hattie B's at the top of the category, outpacing legacy brands like KFC and Popeyes.

Jollibee, the flagship brand of Jollibee Foods Corporation, was recently featured on Nation’s Restaurant News for achieving one of the highest average unit volumes (AUVs) among chicken chains in the United States, further solidifying its status as a top-performing brand in the fast-growing category.
According to its FDD, Jollibee’s U.S. locations averaged $4.55 million in sales per store in 2024*, putting the brand in elite company alongside Chick-fil-A ($7.49 million), Raising Cane’s ($6.56 million), and Hattie B’s Hot Chicken ($4.4 million) as shown in newly released Technomic data.
This performance places Jollibee far ahead of legacy brands like Popeyes, KFC, and Church’s Texas Chicken, which all fall into the $1 million to $1.99 million AUV range. Even among fast-rising chains, only a few — such as Pollo Campero ($3.17 million) and Dave’s Hot Chicken ($3.1 million) — managed to surpass the $3 million threshold.
Jollibee’s strong showing demonstrates its successful positioning in the U.S. market and signals a significant opportunity as the brand continues to expand through franchising.
