Some people going into new units are in a tough spot and don't have anything,” Myers said. “We take the nice stuff we get from other jobs and can help furnish with a new bed, couch, table, cutlery, etc. It makes us feel really good inside to help people in need. We get to make a living but also touch people in ways others can't.”The brand also broadcasts its willingness to help on its website, with a banner stating, “If you or someone you know needs something and are not in a position to buy it, please let us know. He detailed how a fire locally displaced more than a dozen families, leaving them homeless and without belongings. The franchise furnished those families’ temporary housing units and provided them with essential items after they lost everything.&nbsp;“It’s emotional. They will cry; we will cry,” said Myers. It’s amazing to know what we did makes such a big difference in somebody's life. It's a privilege to be able to give back to people in the community, and it makes us feel like we're doing something worthwhile.”Displaying a philanthropic spirit has also brought good karma to the business, with many partnerships in the community resulting from all their community involvement.“When you are givers and donators, and you help people in need, you get more referrals to make money because you're doing good.
