The Eastland neighborhood is located just a few miles from downtown Charlotte.This LaundroLab will feature detergent auto-injectors and laundry supply vending machines at the new Charlotte location, complete with free WiFi, arcade games, a relaxing lounge setup and a fully-attended store, among other amenities.&nbsp;By establishing a unit in Charlotte, LaundroLab is substantiating its presence in the host city of its corporate headquarters. The brand has identified Charlotte as a strong market for brand development due to a decrease in homeownership and a subsequent decrease in people owning laundry machines. LaundroLab’s corporate employees will be able to assist the corporate-owned location with extreme accessibility, helping to develop the revolutionary business model in new markets.The new LaundroLab location has many families in the immediate vicinity of the Eastland location, too. The brand is geared to further the values that are important to many local residents. “Our brand seeks to create an environment conducive to laughing, learning and playing for children, and children at heart is a big reason for why we do what we do,” D’Aquisto said.In an effort to build a devout Charlotte client base, the brand will offer a 50% discount on all washers from opening to December 9th. LaundroLab is also offering its Year of Free Laundry sweepstakes, where one lucky customer will win a full year's worth of washes at LaundroLab for free. The discounted first weeks will culminate with a Free Laundry Day event taking place on December 10th, where customers can clean their clothes at absolutely no charge. The brand will host a raffle that day, giving away televisions, bicycles and more.LaundroLab has been able to make its Free Laundry Day possible through a partnership with LaundryCares, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the communities of laundry customers. The organization has helped people through programs for early childhood development and disaster relief assistance and has partnered with LaundroLab to help showcase the brand and to help those in developing markets.The LaundroLab brand has a mission to prove that not all laundromats need to be an afterthought.
